Lycos (formerly Ybrant Digital) has posted a consolidated revenue of Rs 499 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2015, against Rs 456 crore in the comparable quarter last year, showing a growth of about 9 per cent.
Consolidated net profit has been put at Rs 91 crore (Rs 83 crore) in the quarter, a growth of over 8 per cent, Lycos Chairman Suresh Reddy has said.
Ybrant Digital bought the yesteryear's search engine and absorbed it and later rechristened itself after Lycos. The firm is listed on the BSE.
Digital marketing segment contributed Rs 389 crore and software development segment Rs 110 crore in the quarter against Rs 341 crore and Rs 115 crore, respectively in the comparable quarter last year.
