Smartphone-maker Motorola has ended its exclusivity with Flipkart. With this consumers will be able to buy its devices from a wider range of offline and online retailers through its distribution partner Brightstar India.
Apart from Flipkart, the company will sell its products online through other portals such as Snapdeal and Amazon from Friday, the company said.
For the very first time, since the introduction of the Moto E in 2014, consumers who prefer walking into a store to buy their smartphones will be able to pick the Moto E 4G LTE off the shelf at select Airtel stores across the country, it said.
“Responding to growing demand from our consumers we have made a strategic move of increasing the availability of our portfolio across offline and multiple online shopping platforms,” Amit Boni, General Manager, Motorola Mobility India, said.
The company will start at select stores for consumers to experience and purchase the devices.
