DLF shot up over 7 per cent to emerge the top gainer on the NSE near the close on Wednesday. At 3.30 pm the share was trading at Rs 152.15. This represented a gain of 7.19 per cent on its previous close at Rs 141.95.
GAIL (India) held steady to quote at Rs 490.55 as against Rs 477.25 at close yesterday. This represented a gain of 2.79 per cent.
Sesa Sterlite vaulted 2.42 per cent at Rs 241.10. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 235.40.
Grasim Industries gained 2.27 per cent at Rs 3,566.20. The share had ended the overnight session at Rs 3,486.90.
ITC extended its morning rally to hold gains of 2.25 per cent at Rs 363.4. The share had closed yesterday’s session at Rs 355.40.
