Realty stocks such as Indiabulls Real Estate, Unitech, Phoenix Mills, Delta Corp, Housing Development & Infrastructure and Prestige Estates Projects tanked up to 5 per cent on Monday, causing Nifty Realty index extend the losses for the fourth session.

The Nifty Realty was trading 3.04 per cent down at 264.65 at 1.40 pm local time, while the Nifty was trading down by 136.05 points or 1.37 per cent at 9,828.35 and the Sensex was trading lower by 413.02 points or 1.29 per cent at 31,509.42.

Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate were trading down by 6.28 per cent at Rs 204.35, Unitech (-5.04%) at Rs 6.60, Phoenix Mills (-6.34%) at Rs 457.50, Delta Corp (-3.4%) at Rs 190.10, HDFC (-1.93%) at Rs 1,746.60 and Prestige Estates (-5.29%) at Rs 250.50 on the NSE.

Shares of Oberoi Realty stood as the sole gainer. The company stock caught investors' attention on reports of it acquiring around 60 acres land of Glaxosmithkline Pharmaceuticals in Thane, Maharashtra.

The company shares were trading higher by 4.31 per cent at Rs 425.80 on the NSE.
