Gearing up for ‘Akshaya Tritiya’, Prince Jewellery on Wednesday launched its refurbished stores at T Nagar and Cathedral Road in Chennai.
Coinciding with the launch, it also launched Prince Diamonds, its new and exclusive brand of diamonds for its jewellery range. “These diamonds are handpicked and certified by us, and come with 100 per cent buy-back guarantee,” said Joseph Prince, Director, Prince Gold and Diamonds India Pvt Ltd.
It also launched a range of platinum jewellery and diamond jewellery collections under the brands Alrosa, Nava and His & Hers. These bridal collections, including a necklace, earrings and bangles, would sport a price tag upwards of ₹5 lakh.
Announcing the launch, Prince said this year the company will also set up one more store in Chennai and Bangalore. “We also propose to launch our first store in Andhra Pradesh this year,” he added.
According to him, the expansion will entail an investment of over ₹200 crore.
The ₹700-crore jewellery retailer has two stores in Chennai, one in Bangalore and Thiruvananthapuram. With the proposed expansion, it hopes to go past ₹1,000 crore turnover by next year, said Prince.
