Publicis Capital has announced the appointment of Manasi Kadne as Executive Creative Director. Kadne moves from Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai. At Publicis Capital she will lead the creative charge at the Mumbai office and the L’Oreal Garnier account, reporting to Bobby Pawar, Managing Director & Chief Creative Officer, Publicis South Asia.

Bobby Pawar said, “ Manasi can help us up our game. She is not only a good creative, she is a good leader. But what I like most about her is that her creativity isn’t limited to the office, it bleeds into her life. Her interests will only aid us in making new kinds of stuff for our brands.”

Kadne comes with 15 years’ experience in advertising, with successful stints at Ogilvy & Mather, McCann Erickson, Leo Burnett, Mudra and SSC&B Lintas. While she has had multi-category exposure, her penchant for beauty and luxury has seen her partnering marquee brands such as L’Oreal Paris, Maybelline New York, Lakme, Ponds, Rejoice, Kiah Diamonds and Bombay Dyeing. Other key brands she has worked on are Google, McDonald’s, UDV, Tata Sky, Axis Bank, Godrej, Mattel Toys, National Geographic, UTI Bank, Tata Indicom, Sahara TV and Cox & Kings. Her work has received accolades at the Cannes Lions, One Show, New York Fest, Communication Arts and has also made its way into the Lurzers’ Archive.

Arjuna Gaur to lead Leo Burnett Delhi’s creative tasks

Leo Burnett India has brought on board Arjuna Gaur as the Executive Creative Director. Gaur will be based at the New Delhi office and lead the creative function of the North operations. He will report to RajDeepak Das, Chief Creative Officer, Leo Burnett, South Asia.

Gaur joins the agency from M&C Saatchi Kuala Lumpur. He has a robust 10 years of experience, including stints at Grey and BBDO India, where he worked with Das.

Gaur has several award-winning campaigns to his name. He has worked across categories and brands, his most well-known work being the ‘I Feel Up’ campaign for 7UP, Quaker Oats’ ‘Make India Heart Healthy’ and ‘Art By The People’ for GE India, among many others. He has won multiple awards for his campaigns at Spikes Asia, Effies, The One Show and the Kancils in Malaysia.

On Gaur, RajDeepak Das said, “We have worked together for 7-8 years at BBDO India, and I love the energy he brings to the table. I love that he is a geek, I love that he understands human behaviour, applies it to his craft, and makes the ad-meet-the-tech-meet-the-idea.”

Gaur enjoys dismantling old, rare Mac computers, refurbishing them himself and making them functional.

Rajesh Ghatge is CEO, Indigo Consulting

Indigo Consulting, the Leo Burnett Group’s full-service digital agency, has brought on board Rajesh Ghatge as Chief Executive Officer. Ghatge will lead the 300-plus employees across Indigo Consulting and Indigo iStrat. He will report to Saurabh Varma, Chief Executive Officer, Leo Burnett, South Asia, and will be based at the Mumbai office.

Ghatge has 24 years of experience, 18 of which were spent in the activation and digital business, and two in the technology start-up world. His previous stint was with start-up, iCare Life, where he was the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. The company has created a technology platform to skill, certify and find employment for school dropouts and contract workers and transform them into professional caregivers and chauffeurs.

Having begun his career in marketing and sales in the FMCG and pharmaceutical sectors, in 1997, he co-promoted Bates CHI & Sercon (erstwhile Sercon). He has extensive knowledge and experience in brand activation, digital and retail marketing, web and app-enabled products and services and the training domain. He has led award-winning campaigns for large brands such as P&G, Colgate, Oracle, Nokia, Dell and Castrol.

An alumnus of the Institute of Rural Management in Anand, Rajesh has an MBA degree. Outside of his work, he is deeply involved with leveraging technology for social impact. He loves Yoga and volunteering in his spare time.
