As a part of its CSR activity on 150th foundation day celebration, Allahabad Bank extended a support of Rs 10 lakh to Sabarmati Harijan Ashram Trust in Ahmedabad for the construction of Girls hostel. Founded in 1865 on April 24, the bank today has a pan-India presence offering all financial services.
On the occasion, SK Sharma, AGM, Zonal Office Ahmedabad, said the Bank will open 15 new branches in Gujarat in 2014-15. Also, blood donation camps were organised at Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat and Rajkot to mark the occasion. Various social & cultural activities, free health check-ups were also organised by all branches in Gujarat on the day.
