Bangkok-based hospitality services provider Absolute Hotel Services on Monday announced entry of its budget hotel brand ‘Eastin Easy’ into India.
“It is our first Eastin Easy brand hotel to debut in India. With this, we have four hotels operating in the country under different brand names,” Absolute Hotel Services CEO Jonathan Wigley said. The company has contracts for another 13 hotels in India, which are under construction.
“Our another hotel brand Eastin Hotel, which is a four-star business hotel, shall come up in Ahmedabad in the next few months,” Wigley said. According to Wigley, the supply of rooms in Ahmedabad has trebled in last five years.
Eastin Easy Citizen, the 52 rooms three-star hotel which is opening today, is a collective venture of Citizen Group and Absolute Hotel Services. “We have invested around Rs 12 crore, including the property and furnishing,” CEO Citizen Group Kamalesh Mehta said.
