Flinto, a company which focuses on early child development, has bagged the best start-up for 2014 in the Education sector by CII Startupreneurs.
CII Startupreneurs Expo is a prestigious forum for emerging start-ups which empowers them to capitalise and grow their respective businesses.
Flintobox, a maker of monthly discovery kits for children, provides holistic concepts developed by designed and prototyped by designers, reviewed by Early Child Developmental experts and tested by kids.
The activities and projects are shipped in a box to customers on every month basis subscription. The boxes feature toys themed around topics like wildlife, vegetables, coloring, outer space, numbers and others, all aimed at 12 development needs developed and honed in children. The theme varies each month.
“I personally believe that it requires immense courage and hard work to start a venture of this scale independently and more importantly to sustain the efforts, and awards like this are a great morale booster to encourage us to scale greater heights,” said Arunprasad Durairaj, Co-founder Flinto.
