Schneider Electric India hopes to reach installation of its solar power inverters worth 1 giga watt in the next six months from 700 MW now. “With national mission for solar power capacity addition in the country, we are very optimistic on growth in India with micro and mini-grids," Vice-President (Solar) Anurag Garg told reporters here. Schneider in India offers complete solar solution except panel and wires.
Garg said micro and mini-grids are the most efficient means to deliver electricity to rural India for the last mile connectivity. Around 11,500 odd villages are yet to be on the country’s power connection map.
