Construction company IVRCL Ltd has bagged orders worth Rs 1,097.57 crore through its building, water and power divisions.
For the Hyderabad-based construction company, new orders for its buildings division worth Rs 573.12 crore includes one overseas contract worth Rs 369 crore, to be executed over 24 months. It entails design, construction and maintenance of a parking lot for trucks in Aljahra’s Governorate, awarded by the public works department in Kuwait.
Another order relates to the extension of building for the Patna High Court awarded by the Office of the Executive Engineer, Patna. The Rs 102.06-crore order is to be executed within 24 months.
STADIUM
The Andhra Cricket Association has mandated IVRCL to construct an international cricket stadium in Amravati township of Mangalagiri in Guntur district (Andhra Pradesh). The Rs 51.04-crore project is to be completed in 20 months.
It has been awarded a contract by Tata Steel Ltd Khondbond - Joda for setting up a conveyor footings project by FLSmidth Private Ltd. The work, valued at Rs 52.02 crore, is to be completed within 18 months.
The water division has secured several orders worth Rs 471.82 crore, including a Rs 97-crore order from the municipal corporation of Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh, and a Rs 311.15-crore deal in Orissa. The latter is part of a project funded by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency and awarded by the Orissa Water Supply & Sewerage Board. It is to be completed in 36 months.
The power division has bagged orders from Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd and Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd for setting up transmission lines.
