The Ahmedabad-based Marck Biosciences Ltd, manufacturer and marketer of sterile dosages and blow-fill-seal (BFS) specialist, on Tuesday announced its rebranding as Amanta Healthcare.
Bhavesh Patel, Managing Director, said in a statement here that the company has invested Rs 45 crore in expanding its capacity at its plant. It now plans to recruit about 225 people.
Amanta’s new logo expresses dynamism and symbolizes mobility, freedom and pioneering, he said.
Amanta’s products are marketed in 77 countries across five continents. Recently, it received the MCC - South Africa approval for its small volume parenterals at the Kheda plant.
Founded in 1988, Amanta manufactures and markets a range of over 80 sterile dosages spanning fluid therapy, ophthalmic, respiratory solutions and anti-infectives across India and abroad.
