Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has recalled 900 units of its Scorpio Ex variant to replace a pressure regulating valve.
This is in keeping with its customer centric approach as well as in compliance with the recently announced voluntary code on vehicle recall, M&M said in release issued late Thursday evening.
The recall is for vehicles manufactured between October and November 2013. The "proactive replacement" is for a single part only, it added.
This replacement would be carried out with immediate effect and would be done free-of-cost. The customers would be individually contacted by the company or the authorised dealers.
The recall is limited only to the Scorpio Ex variant manufactured during the said period and does not affect other Scorpio variants, M&M said in the statement.
