Film entertainment company PVR Ltd has entered into a five-year agreement with Bigtree Entertainment Pvt Ltd, the holding company of ticketing portal for BookMyshow.com.
BookMyshow will be PVR’s preferred online ticketing partner, and the mulitplex chain targets Rs 1,000-crore worth tickets sale exclusively through this arrangement, in addition to sales through the box office and other channels.
The company said that it had been in discussions with BMS for quite some time to work out this association, and the tie-up will help PVR touch millions of new additional customers, Pramod Arora, Group President and CEO, PVR Cinemas, said.
