Samit Ghosh, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ujjivan, has been elected president of the Microfinance Institutions Network (MFIN).
In the new board of directors for the apex body of NBFC-Microfinance institutions formed after the elections in the fourth AGM held recently, C.S Ghosh, Founder & CEO, Bandhan was elected as the vice-president.
The other directors elected included Suresh Krishna of Grammen Koota, Bangalore and P Kishore Kumar of Trident Microfin, Hyderabad.
“The newly elected Board brings together the varied and rich experience of members across India,’’ Alok Prasad, CEO, MFIN said in a release on Tuesday.
