Schwing Stetter India, a concrete equipment manufacturer, is expanding its product range to earthmoving equipment to supplement its existing range.
It has launched a 3-tonne and 5-tonne wheel loader, motorgrader, and concrete equipment such as 2 Cu M an hour and 4 Cu M batching plants, self-loading mixers and circular distributors.
In addition, it has upgraded some of its existing products such as the S43 Boom Pump, SP1807 Stationary Pump, a new canopy for stationary pumps, weigh bridges for truck mixers and inner climbing mechanism for tower cranes.
Batching plantsAnand Sundaresan, Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, Schwing Stetter, said the company sells over 600 batching plants annually and each represents an opportunity to sell a wheel loader as every batching plant needs a loader.
Also, the expanded product range is in anticipation of a pick up in construction and infrastructure projects, he said.
Excon 2015VG Sakthikumar, Managing Director, Schwing Stetter Sales and Services, said the launches coincide with the Excon 2015 a construction equipment exposition to be held in Bengaluru between November 25 and 29.
The company is expanding the output of batching plants, including the newly launched M30Z, and will initially import the 3-tonne and 5-tonne wheel loaders and motor graders.
