Surat-based virtual reality startup ShilpMIS Technologies Pvt Ltd has raised an undisclosed amount of funding via the IvyCamp platform from digital industry veteran and investor Puneet Gupta, and Nimitt Desai, partner at Deloitte USA, and other HNIs.
Founded by IIT-Guwahati alumni Hardik Desai and Vivek Bhargav, ShilpMIS aims to empower people to create, consume and spread content seamlessly in a variety of ways to allow wider set of audiences to experience locations, travel, events, photography, products, without writing a single line of code, the company said in a press release.
IvyCamp, an initiative of IvyCap Ventures Advisors Pvt. Ltd., is India’s first unified technology based platform that leverages the Global Alumni Network to help entrepreneurs be successful. Through the platform, it partners with educational institutions and alumni to connect entrepreneurs with experts, investors, corporates, and other entrepreneurs. Its parent – IvyCap Ventures is raising its second fund of Rs 600 crore. IvyCap raised and deployed Rs 250 crore in its maiden fund last year.
