The management of Srinivasa Hatcheries Ltd has decided to close down the company’s hatchery at Mindivanipalem village and the hatchery and farm at Aganampudi village as these units were completely destroyed due the Hudhud cyclone in October 2014 in Andhra Pradesh, resulting in a huge loss to the company.
There is no scope for reviving operations in the units as they will no longer be economically viable, the company has informed the BSE.
