Tata Communications has upgraded TGN-Pacific (TGN-P) submarine cable system that connects the US to Japan to support 100 gigabits per second. It has also upgraded three routes on the TGN-Intra-Asia (TGN-IA) market across Asia.
The company is using NYSE-listed Ciena Corp’s solutions to upgrade TGN-P submarine cables. In addition, Ciena’s solutions also supports Tata Communications’ Intra-Asia network, which spans roughly 6,700 km.
