Tata Power has commissioned a 25 MW solar project, through its subsidiary, Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), at Palaswadi village in Satara district, Maharashtra.
The Rs 250 crore solar farm, spread over 130 acres, is expected to generate about 46 million units annually and enable Tata Power meet its solar renewable purchase obligation. The power generated is evacuated through the State transmission network.
