Tata Tea has launched “Acti Green”, a new variant in the green tea category, in a move to popularise green tea and make it accessible to more consumers. A company release says the Acti Green range will be available at convenient price points, and in milder blends and flavours such as elaichi, tulasi-nimbu and regular green tea. Vikram Grover, Vice-President and Head, Marketing (India and South Asia), Tata Global Beverages Ltd, said the brand has set out to demystify the notion of green tea being highly priced. It will be available in packs of five, at ₹20 and in a 50-gm pack at ₹40 at leading retail outlets and supermarkets.
