TVS Capital Funds, which manages the Rs 1,100-crore TVS Shriram Growth Fund, has strengthened its management and advisory team, according to a press release from the company.
It has appointed Karthik Ranganathan as Executive Director-Investments and Rahul Deshpande as Director-Investments.
Karthik was formerly a partner with Baring Private Equity. He has over 17 years experience in the private equity field.
Deshpande, earlier an Associate Director with Ashmore Alchemy India, has more than a decade’s experience in investment and operational roles.
S. Mahalingam, former CFO of TCS; and Dileep Madgavkar, with expertise in investing in high quality mid-sized listed companies; and Praveen Chakravarty, a senior professional in financial services are a part of the advisory team, the release said.
The fund targets investments across healthcare delivery, food and agriculture, retail, education, hospitality, FMCG, restaurants, facilities management, institutional catering and security services.
