VA Tech Wabag’s order intake in the first three quarters of the current year have crossed Rs 3,000 crore to surpass its target for the year. According to a press release from the company, the water and wastewater management multinational, had projected an order intake of about Rs 2,700 crore for 2013-14 but received over Rs 1,000 crore orders in each of the three quarters. The release quoting Rajiv Mittal, Managing Director, said most of the orders bagged during the year are funded by multilateral or bilateral agencies which is advantageous in terms of consistent cash flow. During the third quarter, Wabag won a Rs 150-crore order from Reliance Industries.
