The Kasaragod-based Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI) will organise a farmers’ meet and agri-business expo at Kasaragod in Kerala from January 5-10.
A press release said here that the event is being organised to commemorate the 25 years of service of Krishi Vijnan Kendra (KVK) at Kasaragod and the foundation day of CPCRI.
Quoting P Chowdappa, CPCRI Director, the release said that a host of programmes that include interface programmes, seminar series and exhibitions will be organised during these days.
The exhibitions will have stalls related to crop farming, animal husbandry, aquaculture and horticulture. Around 50,000 visitors, including researchers, representatives from import-export trade houses and farmer producer companies, agri-input dealers, farmers, government officials, farm innovators, prospective agri-entrepreneurs and students, are expected to attend the exhibition.
