The third phase of the R-LNG e-auctions for stranded gas-based power plants started on Tuesday at 2 pm.
In the provisional allotment so far, Ratnagiri Gas and Power has the highest allotment of imported gas at 317.359 million cubic metres to generate 1.56 billion units of electricity between April 1, 2016, to September 30, 2016.
The likes of GMR Energy, GVK Power, Lanco and others are also participating in the ongoing financial bidding.
Details of the final allotments are expected to be out later in the day.
