Leading travel company >MakeMyTrip.com has with the launch of its retail store in Coimbatore strengthened its offline presence here to assist travellers in this region.
The company follows a hybrid business model wherein the brand operates in the online as well as offline area. It is looking to expand its retail operations through franchised stores. There are 54 MakeMyTrip stores across India at present.
In Coimbatore, the company has partnered with Mr A Naveen for establishing its retail store.
Mr Mohit Gupta, Chief Business Officer, MakeMyTrip said the store would offer a range of products and services including domestic and international air, hotels and holiday packages.
On the company’s foray here, he said ‘Coimbatore is fast emerging as an important travel hub. Apart from family groups travelling for leisure, we have witnessed an increase in business traffic as well.’
The company’s retail store here is located in R S Puram.
