The edible oils market extended its gain on Tuesday on higher physical demand led by bullish overseas and domestic futures. Stockists tried to fill the pipeline by placing bulk orders. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, major edible oils rose in the range of ₹2-10 for 10 kg. Soyabean refined oil witnessed a hefty jump of ₹17. Vikram Global Commodities (P) Ltd quoted ₹515 for Malaysian super palm January delivery. Liberty traded palmolein at ₹488/490 and super palmolein at ₹510 for January soyabean refined oil at ₹610. Allana was quoting palmolein at ₹493, soyabean refined oil ₹612 and sunflower oil ₹640. BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 870 (860), soya refined oil 607(590), sunflower ref. 635 (625), rapeseed expeller ref 750 (740) and Palmolein 484 (482).
