Firm overseas markets on the back of a price increase by local refineries lifted imported palmolein and soya refined oil by ₹7 and ₹1 each on Wednesday. Sources said imported oils gained on firm overseas and domestic futures.
During the day, hardly 350–400 tonnes of palmolein resold at ₹622-624. At the end of the day Liberty was quoting Palmolein higher at ₹635/636 (ex Ghatkopar/Shapur) for September 20. Ruchi was quoting Soyabean refined oil at ₹661 for September 1-30. Soya refined oil was trading at ₹665 for Sept 1-25. Golden Agri was quoting palmolein ₹635 for September 15.
