Geojit Comtrade Ltd has announced the change in its name to Geofin Comtrade Ltd with effect from November 26.
The name change is part of a re-branding initiative to better align the company’s name with its future strategy and change in the structure.
Commodities research, advisory and intermediation services like broking, procurement and delivery of commodities are some of the services which forms part of its continued offering in commodities. The name change reflects a wider vision and commitment to provide comprehensive solutions catering to the commodity value chain, a press release said.
In addition, the company also announced the recent appointment of Girish Dev as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Geofin Comtrade. He comes onboard after stints in senior management positions including, as Director, Capital First Commodities and as ED & CEO Networth Group, the release added.
