Rise in chana futures and talk of duty imposition on imports perked up chana prices in Indore mandis with chana (kanta) at ₹4,600 a quintal, while chana (desi) ruled at ₹4,500. Chana dal (average) went for ₹5,500-5,700, while chana dal (bold) ruled at ₹6,100-6,100 a quintal respectively. Amid subdued demand, dollar chana ruled stable at ₹11,000 a quintal. In container, dollar chana (42/44 count) ruled at ₹12,500; 44/46 count ruled at ₹12,300; 58/60 count traded at ₹10,500 a quintal respectively.
