Weak arrival of mustard and improved buying at lower rate perked up mustard oil prices in mandis across Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat. Prices in Indore mandis rose to ₹660 (₹655 last week).
Similarly, mustard oil gained ₹5 in Neemuch to ₹655, while it was quoted ₹4 up in Morena at ₹664. In Rajasthan mandis also, mustard oil traded higher with prices in Kota and Ganga Nagar being quoted at ₹670 each (up ₹5), while in Jaipur it ruled at ₹685 (₹685).
Similarly in Gujarat, mustard oil quoted higher at ₹650 (up ₹5) on improved buying. Plant deliveries of mustard oil for Jaipur line gained marginally at ₹3,695-3,700. Amid declined in arrival, mustard prices in the physical market were up at ₹4,200-50 a quintal. Raida ruled firm at ₹3,000-3,100. Arrival declined to one lakh bags (1.20 lakh bags last week).
