Jeera price moved up on the back of lower arrival in the mandis. Following the physical market and on expectation of fresh export inquiries. At Unjha mandi of gujarat, about 800-900 bags arrived and price moved up by ₹15 to 2,600-3,350 per 20 kg.
About 200 bags arrived in Rajkot and price increased by ₹15 to ₹2,850-3,450 per 20 kg.At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) jeera November contract gained by ₹175 to ₹17,035 per quintal, with an open interest of 6,789 lots. NCDEX December jeera increased by ₹130 to ₹17,220 per 100 kg, with an open interest of 5,478 lots.
