The sluggish trend in pulses continued with arrivals outstripping demand. Increased arrivals and slack buying dragged tur (Maharashtra) on Wednesday to ₹4,550, while tur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at ₹3,800-3,900 a quintal. Decline in spot tur price has dragged its dal with tur dal being quoted at ₹6,400-6,700, tur dal (sawa no.) at ₹5,900-6,100, while tur marka ruled at ₹6,800-6,900 a quintal.

Moong and urad ruled flat on subdued demand with moong (bold) in local mandis today being quoted at ₹7,200-7,400, while moong (medium) ruled at ₹6,500-6,800. According to traders, moong is expected to witness sluggish trend with rise in arrival of summer moong in the coming days. Moong dal (bold) was at ₹8,400-8,600, moong dal (bold) at ₹8,800-8,900, while moong mongar ruled at ₹9,600-9,800.

Slack buying also kept urad prices steady with urad (bold) at ₹4,900-5,000, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹4,300-4,600. Urad dal (medium) was ₹5,300-5,600 , urad dal (bold) at ₹5,800-6,000, while urad mongar ruled at ₹6,000-6,400 a quintal.
