Sluggish trend continued in pulses and pulse seeds amid slack buying and rise in selling pressure.

Masur (bold) on Friday ruled at ₹5,900 a quintal, while masur (Madhya Pradesh) was at ₹5,500. Compared to last week, masur is ruling marginally lower. Besides weak demand in pulses, arrival of inferior quality masur from Canada has also added to the downtrend. Masur dal (medium) was at ₹6,450-6,550, while masur dal (bold) ruled at ₹6,750-6,950.

Downtrend continued in moong with arrivals outstripping demand. Besides, decline in buying support at higher rate has also dragged moong prices with moong (bold) being quoted at ₹7,400-7,500, while moong (medium) ruled at ₹6,600-6,800. Moong dal (medium) was traded at ₹8,300-8,500, moong dal (bold) ₹9,700-9,900, while moong mongar ruled at ₹9,500-9,600.

Urad and its dal ruled stable on subdued and slack demand with urad (bold) at ₹5,500-5,600, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹4,800-5,000.
