A majority of pulses and pulse seeds in Indore mandis rallied as demand outstripped arrivals. On Wednesday, tur (Maharashtra) new variety ruled at ₹5,700-5,800, while tur (Madhya Pradesh) was quoted at ₹4,400-4,900. Besides slack arrival, higher imports have also added to the uptrend in tur.
Tur dal (full) went for ₹7,300-7,400 (down ₹100 from last week), tur dal (sawa no.) at ₹6,700-7,100, while tur marka ruled at ₹7,800-8,150.
Slack availability and improved demand also lifted moong and urad with moong (bold) at ₹7,800-8,100 (up ₹100), while moong (medium) was quoted at ₹7,300-7,500. Moong dal (medium) went for ₹8,700-8,950, moong dal (bold) ₹9,000-9,200, while moong mongar ruled at ₹9,700-9,800.
Urad (bold) was at ₹6,100-6,200, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹5,500. Urad dal (medium) ruled at ₹7,200-7,300, urad dal (bold) ₹7,400-7,500, while urad mongar ruled at ₹7,700-8,000 a quintal respectively.
