Mustard and its oil continued to trade lower on sluggish demand with mustard oil prices in Indore mandis declining to ₹678 (down ₹9 from last week). Similarly, in Neemuch and Morena mandis of Madhya Pradesh, mustard oil ruled lower at ₹670 and ₹685 respectively (down ₹10 each from last week).
Given robust crop prospect and expected arrival of new crop next month, the sluggish trend will likely to continue.
Mustard and raida also traded low amid slack buying and demand with mustard being quoted at ₹4,000-4,100 a quintal (down ₹100 from last week), while raida ruled at ₹3,400-50 (down ₹50-100 from last week). Plant deliveries of mustard seeds for Jaipur line slipped today to ₹3,960-65 a quintal (4,050-55 last week).
