Spot rubber finished flat on Thursday. RSS 4 was quoted steady at ₹144 a kg by traders. The grade improved to ₹143.50 (₹143) and ₹140.50 (₹140) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and dealers. August futures gained further to ₹142.13 (₹140.99), September to ₹136.75 (₹135.85) and October to ₹131.70 (₹131.07) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) declined to ₹123.54 (₹124.46) at Bangkok. August futures improved to ¥189.7 (₹121.50) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates ₹/ kg were: RSS-4: 144 (144); RSS-5: 141 (141); Ungraded: 116 (116); ISNR 20: 121 (121) and Latex (60% drc): 90 (90).
