Spot rubber closed almost unchanged as major consuming industries abstained from the market on Monday. RSS 4 finished flat at ₹134 a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade was steady at ₹131 a kg, according to dealers. October futures improved to ₹134.34 (133.46), November to ₹134.24 (133.14), December to ₹135 (134.37) and January to ₹136.49 (135) on the NMCE. RSS 3 (spot) firmed up to ₹115.18 (114.34) at Bangkok. October futures improved to ₹122.83 (120.39) on the TOCOM. Spot rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 134 (134); RSS-5: 131 (131); ISNR 20: 117 (117.50) and Latex (60% drc): 85 (85).
