Edible oils market witnessed a dull trading session on extended bearish trend in overseas market amid lack of demand. The volume remained very thin and isolated as stockists preferred to stay away. In Mumbai, hardly 150-200 tonnes of palmolein were resold at ₹614-618 per 10 kg for ready. Local refineries reduced their rates by ₹5, but there were no buyers. Liberty traded palmolein for ₹635, super palmolein ₹655. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin increased to ₹1,440 (1,420) and loose (10 kg) to ₹910 (900). BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 930 (930), soya ref. 715 (715), sunflower exp. ref. 655 (665), sunflower ref. 710 (710), rapeseed ref. 780 (790), rapeseed exp. ref. 750 (760), cottonseed ref. 695 (690) and palmolein 618 (618).
