With local mandis remaining closed today on account of ‘Janmashtmi’, soyabean and soya oil ruled sluggish amid weak physical demand and global cues. Soyabean in Indore mandis is ruling at ₹3,750-3,900 a quintal even as arrival remained negligible. In futures also, soyabean traded low with its October and November contracts on the NCDEX closing lower at ₹3,434 and ₹3,293 a quintal. According to traders, bearish sentiment in soyabean will to continue given the reports of better carryover stock and better crop at global level. Plant deliveries of soyabean were also lower at ₹3,850-3,900.Soya oil continued to trade low with soya refined in local mandis being quoted at ₹620-25, while soya solvent ruled at ₹580-85. Soyameal spot prices were ₹35,500-36,000 a quintal.
