Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) has bagged yet another export order for supply of steel wheels for the EU caravan market. The order entails supply of approx 40,000 13-inch & 14-inch caravan wheels over a period of four months. Wheels will be shipped from SSWL’s Chennai plant. This repeat order strengthens SSWL’s position as a strong player in the extremely competitive caravan wheels market in the European region. Shares of SSWL closed flat at ₹868.25 on the NSE.

Omkar Speciality Chemicals has informed the exchanges that it has applied for patent for a novel catalytic process for preparation of coumarin to obtain a high-yield and super-fine quality product. This product is widely consumed by fragrance and perfume industries, said the company in the notice and added that it is in advance level of negotiations for a tie-up with a leading global consumer of this product. Shares of Omkar Speciality Chemicals gained 0.83 per cent at ₹97.55 on the NSE, while they climbed 1.5 per cent at ₹98.5 on the BSE.

NBCC (India) on Friday informed the exchanges that Air India has agreed to sell its land measuring one acre (estimated) in Mauritius to the company. The transaction is valued at ₹3.10 crore and will be executed within a few days, the company added. Shares of NBCC slipped 0.68 per cent at ₹204.75 on the NSE.
