Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers has restarted the operations of ammonia, urea and ABC plants after the annual maintenance activities. Earlier, the company — which had reassessed the capacity of urea production for the financial year 2016-17 and annual maintenance of its plants — had shut down its ammonia, urea and ABC units from March 3. Shares of Mangalore Chemicals gained 0.52 per cent at ₹76.70 on the NSE.
