The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released tentative schedule for Common Written Examination (CWE) - VI for recruitment to officers and clerical posts in various public sector banks.
All most all public sector banks, except State Bank of India, are conducting recruitment through IBPS.
As per the calendar, the preliminary examination for probationary officers/management trainees will be held in three phases on October 16, 22 and 23, 2016 while the main examination will be held on November 11, 2016.
The preliminary examination for clerks will be held during November 26 - December 4, 2016 and the main examination will be conducted on December 31, 2016 and Jan 1, 2017. The tests for specialists’ category posts will be on Jan 28-29, 2017.
Detailed notifications for each of the above examinations will be made in due course, IBPS Director said in a notification hosted on its portal.
