Vijaya Bank has launched its social media marketing initiative and has created corporate pages on platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Google+. In a press statement, the bank said this initiative aims at connecting with and catering to the needs of the young, tech-savvy clientele and others looking for banking products and services. “The social media foray also opens up an avenue for us to touch base with youngsters at an early age, inculcate banking habits, expose them to the financial world and also to egg them on to a less cash society,” MD & CEO Kishore Sansi said.
