India and the UAE are likely to sign a civil nuclear agreement today. The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces is in India on a state visit. He is accompanied by seven ministers and a high-powered business delegation consisting of 90-100 captains of industry from the UAE.

The National Framework for Malaria Elimination will be launched today, setting the stage for the phased elimination of malaria across States. India aims to eliminate malaria by 2027, ahead of WHO’s target of 2030. The elimination will be done in a phased manner.
