The Department of Heavy Industries, together with Hannover Milano Fairs India, will host a global industrial and engineering trade fair in December called WIN India 2015.
Hannover Milano Fairs India is a joint venture of Deutsche Messe of Germany and Fiera Milano Group of Italy, two of the largest industrial and engineering fair organisers.
“Several companies have set up or are looking to establish their manufacturing bases in India. The Department of Heavy Industry will be the strategic partner of WIN India 2015, with support from FICCI, where both organisations will work towards strengthening the Indian manufacturing sector, making the PM’s vision of ‘Make in India’ a reality,” said Rajan S Katoch, Secretary, Department of Heavy Industries, Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises.
WIN India will have the support of global industrial trade fairs of Hannover and is the umbrella brand for five internationally established trade fairs covering Industrial Automation, Motion Drive Automation, Surface Technology, and materials handling.
The show will be held over an area of 11,000 sq metres and will showcase exhibitors from 27 countries, including Germany, Italy, China, Taiwan and Korea.
