Konkan Railway Corporation will implement the monsoon timetable on Konkan railway route with effect from July 1.
A press statement from the Public Relations Officer of Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd in Mangalore, Sudha Krishnamurthy, said that the timetable will be in force from July 1 (that is the train leaving from originating stations on that day) to September 30 to run the trains punctually during monsoon and avoid inconvenience to passengers.
Those who have been issued journey tickets prior to announcement of the monsoon timetable are requested to check the timings of their train as the departure timing of some trains will be advanced, the statement said.
