The Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA) is seeking to woo Indian tourists offering a multi-faceted experience for the aspirational traveller offering a number of packaged tours.
Presenting the Summer Season schedule and packing it with some exclusive events for Indian visitors, the Abu Dhabi Tourism is offering a complete holiday gateway with a wide range of golfing, cruise, desert safari, wildlife and marine adventures.
Bejan Dinshaw, TCA Abu Dhabi Country Manager, India, said, “We are excited to market Abu Dhabi as a destination of choice for outbound travellers from India and Hyderabad. Abu Dhabi with its entertainment options, iconic properties, culture, heritage and adventure is a complete destination for a completely new holiday experience.”
He said, “It offers a blend of traditional and the modern and has become a choice destination for leisure, weddings, honeymooners and meeting. During January-May 2015, Abu Dhabi welcomed 1,05,031 Indian hotel guests, a growth of 17 per cent over the same period last year. We expect to cross 2.4 lakh visitors this year.”
Offering more than 200 flights a week from across 14 destinations, between Ethihad and jet Airways, the biggest Emirate is well connected and provides convenience for visitors, he said.
Hyderabad is one of the important destinations the Emirate is seeking to woo with its facilities and flight connectivity. Popular singer Shreya Ghosal is expected to take part in the festivities during August 15 Independence Day celebrations, he said.
