My favorite airport: Hong Kong International Airport.

What I like about it: The airport is located on the Chek Lap Kok Island, which gives you the feeling that you are landing on water. What I like the most about landing here is that one can get breath-taking views of the Buddha statue. This is by far one of the most scenic sights I have seen out of all the global airports I have visited.

The other feature of this airport is its efficiency. Hong Kong International Airport is one of the world’s busiest, handling over 60 million passengers a year, yet displays an excellent management of the vast inflow and outflow of passengers. The airport itself gives one a glimpse into Hong Kong city’s rich history, culture, cuisine and contemporary architecture.

What could be improved: There is nothing I would change about this airport.

Others airports I like: I also like the Zurich Airport. This airport ranks second in my list of best airports on aspects such as entertainment, friendliness and punctuality. The airport has tunnels for the Skymetro that takes passengers from one terminal to another. These tunnels are equipped with films displayed on the sides accompanied by matching sound effects. These films along with the sound effects give you the feeling that you are passing through the Swiss countryside.
