The world’s 24th Madame Tussaud’s, the waxworks institution, opened its first base in India, at what was formerly a single-screen theatre called Regal Cinema, in New Delhi. Some of the highlights at the museum include the statues of yesteryear film stars Madhubala and Amitabh Bachchan, alongside contemporary names such as Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. Mary Kom, Kapil Dev and Milkha Singh represent the world of Indian sport, while the statues of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former president APJ Abdul Kalam usher in political star power. International celebrities Leonardo di Caprio, Scarlett Johansson, Kim Kardashian and Tom Cruise can be spotted too. Kardashian is in her characteristic selfie-taking avatar. Want to shine among the stars? Step on to the red carpet of The Filmfare Awards gallery lookalike at the museum. - Kamal Narang
